The disparity in record keeping of coalition forces’ deaths and the number of Iraqis who have died as a result of the U.S. led invasion of Iraq is outrageous. The lack of interest by the U.S. government and military to close this gap is an example of the need to dehumanize the enemy to keep the nation at war.
