BIKE RIDE TO END ALL WARS
Sunday, March 18th 2007 11:00 AM
New York, NY USA

A Bike Ride to End All Wars is an inter-borough bike ride for peace sponsored by Times Up (times-up.org) in conjunction with the March 19 Peace Actions Coalition (march19peaceactions.org).

Feeder rides will start in the outer boroughs and converge in Manhattan to support the UFPJ anti-war march, marking the 5th year of the Iraq war.

Manhattan Ride Convergence: 12:30 PM Dag Hammarskjold Plaza, Second Ave. & E47th St.

This is a peaceful, anti-war ride. In this spirit, the tone of the ride is non-violent. Our attitude will be one of openness and respect toward all people, places and things we encounter on our bike ride. We will use no violence, verbal or physical toward any living being. We will not destroy or damage any property. We will respect traffic laws and signs as is deemed safe for the ride by ride leaders and participants. Not one more death, not one more dollar. Join us as we cycle against oil wars.
