Bush is coming to NYC on September 19!
You can help ensure
that he is greeted by a large, vocal protest against the war by making an urgently needed
donation today. Click here to donate online or call 212-868-5545.
On Tuesday, September 19,
President George W. Bush will be
in New York City to deliver a
defense of the disastrous Iraq War and the so-called "war on terror" to the United Nations -- and we'll be
out in the
streets to greet him! Join us as we call for all the troops to come
home now and say NO to
the Bush administration's endless war-mongering and occupation policy
in the Middle East and attacks on our civil liberties at home.
United for Peace and Justice has organized a great many
demonstrations against the war, but never on such short notice. With just two weeks before Bush comes
to town, we need your help!
We need to raise $25,000 -- right now -- to cover the costs
of mobilizing for this protest, including printing leaflets and banners,
renting a stage and sound system, and getting the word out far and wide to join
us in New York City on September 19.
Your donation of $15, $25, $50, $100 or more will help
ensure that Bush is greeted by a large, vocal outpouring of protest when he
comes to New York City. Please help us make this demonstration a
success by making a donation today!
