“Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter.”
~ Martin Luther King, Jr.

It’s nearing the end of the year and we are reaching out to United for Peace & Justice (UFPJ) member groups and asking each member group to make a meaningful, year-end donation to ensure that UFPJ will be here for you in 2016.

Local group dues are $50-100/year; national group dues are $200-500. Please consider one of these options:

  1. Make a generous, donation that reflects your group’s resources.
  2. If your group has limited funds, please collect a donation from each member of your group to ensure that UFPJ can continue to support grassroots peace and justice organizations in 2016.

War and U.S. militarism have devastating effects. There are currently an unprecedented 60 million refugees due to worldwide conflicts. Endless war increases the horrifying dangers of nuclear weapons use and contributes heavily to climate change. Our excessive spending on militarism creates instability here at home when we no longer meet the basic needs of the American people.

For 13 years, UFPJ has been a strong national leader – educating, organizing and mobilizing people for peace and justice. We develop strategies, supply activist resources, and maintain the communications that make our network effective.

Working for meaningful change is a huge challenge.

Your group’s financial support will be some of the hardest working dollars you will ever spend!
